Welcome Message

LFP Welcome to the Library

The mission of the library media program is to ensure that students and staff are effective users and creators of ideas and information. Students use our school library to find resources and develop the information literacy skills that they will use throughout their lives. Lessons are based on the Shoreline School district's scope and sequence for K-5 library. Students follow an inquiry-based process in seeking knowledge, applying critical thinking skills, and sharing new understandings. In addition, students in grades 1-5 learn internet awareness and safety through lessons designed by Common Sense Media.

LFP About Your Librarian

Welcome to the LFP Library! In my career as an educator, I have taught in the library, in the classroom, and throughout the district as a technology instructor. I completed my education at Rutgers College and the University of Washington. I hope that everyone feels welcomed and inspired when visiting the LFP library.
