Lake Forest Park Kindergarten Supply List

2024-2025

Printing Option

The following supplies will be needed by all kindergartners at Lake Forest Park on the first day of school. Please buy the exact (if possible) items listed. An important component of the program is having the materials for learning in the right place at the right time. We ask parents to supplement the supplies provided by the school. Please note that all items, except backpacks and folders, are shared with the classroom community so there is no need to label those items with your child’s name. 

If the expense is a burden to you, please contact your child's teacher or the principal for other arrangements.  Please bring what you can afford. 

If you cannot find the exact item listed, please DO NOT purchase a substitute item.​​​​​​​

• Parents can help their children by providing these tools for learning:

• 1 Backpack (large enough to carry folder, lunchbox, and library books) 

• 2 Peechee type folders, with pockets on the bottom ONLY, 12”x9” (no side pockets, please)

• 1 box of Crayola crayons (box of 24) 

• 1 box (12 set) Wide Tip, Washable Crayola markers, Classic Colors

• 1 pack of (12 pack) colored pencils (Crayola brand)

• 1 box (10 pack) Crayola Fine Tip, washable markers, Classic Colors 

• 6 Avery or Elmers brand large glue sticks  (No PURPLE, please.)

• 1 container of baby wipes (NOT Clorox)

• 1 container of Clorox Wipes (for teacher use)

• 1 box of Kleenex tissues

• 1 bottle of hand sanitizer with pump 

• 1 box of quart size Ziplock bags

• Pencils, 1 package of (12) wooden, #2 Dixon Ticonderoga

• 2 boxes of Crayola crayons (24 count)

• 1 pair child-sized Fiskars scissors, 5” pointed tips

• 1 folder with pockets on bottom ONLY, 12"x9" (plastic if possible)

• 5 LARGE glue sticks, Avery or Elmers brand (NO PURPLE)

• 1 backpack large enough to carry a folder and library books

• 1 plastic school supply box - Measures 8-5/8"L x 5-3/4"W x 2-1/2" D

• 3 black skinny Expo markers

• 1 wired headphones for Chromebook use (no ear buds!)

• 1 pencil box, plastic, (roughly 8x5x2)

• 2 box facial tissue, regular size

• wired earbuds or wired headphones for Chromebook use

• watercolor paints (crayola oval)

• 4 Sharpies, black (2 fine, 2 ultra fine)

• 4 Black whiteboard markers, thin tip

• 3 dozen (36) - No. 2 Pencils – We prefer sharpened if possible
• 4 colored medium-point ballpoint pens (Any color besides black)
• 2 yellow highlighters
• 4 large, glue sticks
• 1 seven-inch pointed tip scissors
• 1 package of whiteboard markers (any colors) 
• 3 composition books, wide-ruled, 100 pages, sewn edge, 9 3⁄4 X 7 1⁄2” size
• 1 plastic pencil box or a pencil pouch
• 1 box, 24 count, Crayola crayons
• 1 box, 24 set, Crayola colored pencils

The following supplies will be needed by all fifth graders at Lake Forest Park on the first day of school. Please buy the EXACT (if possible) items listed. An important component of the program is having the materials for learning in the right place at the right time. We ask parents to supplement the supplies provided by the school. 

• Orchestra students will also need 2 pencils to be kept in their instrument case.

• If the expense is a burden to you, please contact your child's teacher or the principal for other arrangements.  Please bring what you can afford. 

Parents can help their children by providing these tools for learning:

• 4 Mead Composition books (available at Office Depot)

• 3 dozen #2 pencils Dixon Ticonderoga

• 2 pack of pencil top erasers

• Ruler with inches and centimeters

• 4 Sharpies, black (2 fine, 2 ultra fine)

• 1 yellow highlighter

• 2 packs Post-it notes 3x3

• 1 pair of scissors with a sharp cutting edge – PLEASE LABEL

• 2 large box of Kleenex tissue

• 6 Expo dry-erase markers

• 1 box of Crayola markers (broadline)

• 6 LARGE glue sticks- Elmer’s or Avery brands preferred

• 1 pencil supply box or pouch

• 1 ream of 8 1⁄2 x 11 white multi-purpose
